Dear Derek and Family,
It is with a heavy heart that I write this note. I am so sorry to learn about the passing on your dear Mom. You and I have never met, and I only met your Mom once but she has a pure presence in our life. She was so kind and nice.

We are honoured to now own your old family home. My sister and I love the house and are starting to create our own memories, yet, we often think about your Mom, and your family in the years that have gone by.

I am sorry to hear the sad news.
Best regards, Kim

To Derek and all of Dorothy’s family I send my sincerest condolences on the passing of your beautiful Mom.

I met your Mom at Agnes Pratt where I visited my Mom and my dearest friend Lilly Hunter – Lily always called your Mom Dot and spoke very highly of her wonderful daughter-in-law.. I got to meet many of your family during birthday celebrations for Lily at the home.
Your Mom was very proud of all her family and she spoke of each of with great fondness. I can assure you she held a place in her heart for each of you right next to the special place she held for her beloved daughter Sandy.

May your many memories comfort you and may Dot’s beautiful soul rest in Eternal Peace with her family gone before her, I am sure that was a beautiful reunion. Take Care and God Bless

Derek, I am shocked and heartbroken with this news! Just seeing it on website. I’m stunned.
It was only last week, when I was driving around looking at Christmas lights in Topsail, when I drove by the family house and I thought, I need to get in touch with your mom to arrange a long overdue visit.
I thought the world of her. She taught me a lot when I worked with her back in the mid 80s. Very professional and personable. Your parents gave me my start in the insurance industry when I didn’t even know what a deductible was, and I am so grateful for their guidance and encouragement. No matter how much time passed between later visits, we always talked like old friends. They were instrumental in me having a long and successful career. I will always hold a special place in my heart for your mom and dad.
Please accept my heartfelt condolences. God bless her and, may she rest in peace.

Derek,
I am very sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. I know that you were very close to her, she certainly sounds like she was a wonderful lady.
All my best to you and your family.
Take care,
Susan

So sorry to hear about your Moms passing. Both her and your father were lovely genuine people.
