Condolences to all the family, it was a pleasure to know and care for your Mom. Have a few good memories of “Betty” as I am sure your hearts are filled with many. In her last journey even tough her health was failing she sure had her wits about her. Denise this memory I have of your Mom might bring a smile to your face. I was in the hallway doing meds like I always do, then I heard your Mom saying “ Did you see that?” Then down she comes to me telling me that another resident was in her room using her bathroom, your Mom said she didn’t care about that but she was afraid she was going to fall. I said no way she wasn’t in there your Mom said yes she was. O my God. Then Betty said “ I then told her she had to get out and she said the resident was mad with her “ but the funniest part is Betty said “ well if she can’t get along with me then there must be something wrong with her. “. Betty was precious. Keep her memories close to your heart . Thinking about you and your family as you go through this sad time in your life.

Dear Denise, Denis and Frank,
I was sad to hear of Aunt Bette’s passing. I always enjoyed my visits with your Mom and Dad in both St. John’s and the Goulds. I loved Wally and Rusty but I was the only one in my family who could ride Rusty. I remember one day I was in full gallop up the road and Rusty veered sharply to the left and jumped over the ditch and fence into a field and headed down to the woods. It took me all my strength to stop Rusty but I managed to stop him 10 feet from the trees. He wanted to strip me off the saddle for sure and I wasn’t too keen on riding Rusty after that.
Your Mom will be missed.
