Obituary
Passed peacefully on December 27, 2023, after celebrating Christmas with her family.
Predeceased by Husband, Cluney, Daughter Cheryl and Infant Son Mark, parents Douglas (Step-mother Belinda) and Delsie Harding, parents in-law George and Jessie White; brothers Kelvin and Douglas Harding, sister-in-law Daisy Harding, brothers-in-law Bob Hennebury and Ed Hynes.
Leaving to mourn her children, Delsie (Aiden) Denine; Wade (Sharon); Debbie (Doug) Greeley; and Don (Donna). Grandchildren (Chris, Niki, Christopher, Amanda, Melissa, Sarah, Mark, Corey, Michelle, Cassie, Brad), 6 Great-Grandchildren, Sister Linda Hennebury; Sisters-in-law Elsie Hynes, Ruby (Fred) Starkes, Janie (Eric) Parsons and Brother in-law George White.
Also, leaving a large number of nieces and nephews including special niece Dolli (Shadow) Hennebury, Nephews Kev Harding and Charlie Hynes, and many cherished friends.
Proud member of Branch 10, Royal Canadian Legion, Rainbow 50 Plus Club and Ladies Dart League Portugal Cove Legion.
Special thanks to the care and friendship from staff and residents at Lane’s Retirement Living during the past year.
Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, December 28th and from 10-9 p.m. Friday December 29th.
Funeral service to take place on Saturday, December 30th, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army Citadel, Adam’s Ave. Interment to follow in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Blackmarsh Rd.
Flowers gratefully accepted. For those who wish, donations may be made in memory of June to Branch 10, Royal Canadian Legion, Portugal Cove – St. Philip’s.

She always welcomed me and made me feel like part of the extended family whenever I visited.

I’m so sorry to hear about June’s passing . Myself and family got to know June at lanes retirement home as my mom is at lanes. June was a lovely lady and well like . I got know June from her granddaughter Melissa. Myself and family wwould always talk to her and waving to her when she was in her room .as we go down the hallway . She will be missed by all whom knew her Treasure all the memories of her. Myself and my family especially my mom Gayle send our deepest sympathy to you all your in our thoughts and prayers.
I was so sorry to hear about the passing of Mrs. White. I grew up across the street and as an adult expecting my first child, June was the first person to bring a gift, a beautiful blue sweater, booties and a blanket. It meant so much to me and I’ll always remember her as kind, outgoing and funny. Sincere condolences to the family during this difficult time.

She was a wonderful woman with always a smile whenever I saw her.I remember the kindness of your Mom and Dad when we were building our home from hooking up extension cords from your house to ours so we could work in the night and heating up baby bottles when the power went as they had the propane stove I will always remember that.
