Obituary

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our dearly beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Emmie Lillian Snow, aged 92 years.  Predeceased by her loving husband James Snow, parents Raymond and Violet Gosse, sisters Betty (Howard) and Winnie (Preston), and granddaughter Stephanie Snow.  Left with a lifetime of wonderful memories her daughter Pam (Paul Carter), son Stephen (Doreen), grandchildren Jill (Chris Butler), Matthew Carter (Kara), Alysha Snow (Michael Williams), precious great-grandchildren Josh and Sophie Butler, sister Pearl (Pete Clouston), brother Gordon Gosse (Betty), extended family and a very large circle of friends.

Pam & Family: Saddened to hear of Emmie’s passing. Remember her fondly & cherish the stories of her and mom (Irene Lewis) looking after the desserts at church suppers along with the other ACW women who became such good friends. They were full of fun & enjoyed life. Sorry I didn’t get to the wake or funeral but only got back to town today & read of her passing. Thinking of you at this difficult time.

Emmy Snow was a true Angel ! On The countless number of times that I visited Thetis place to hang with “Steven “- Emmy would always greet me with a smile and laugh ! She always took care of us by cooking homemade fries to keep us at bay.
