Donna & Family. We are truly sorry to hear of Florence’s passing. She was such a kind hearted beautiful soul. Your Mom was a perfect roommate for our Mom (Laura) while at the Glenbrook Lodge. We hope you find comfort in that Florence is finally home and at peace. Keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. Take care and God Bless.

Chris, I hope the memories of your beloved grandmother carry you through this sorrowful time. In reading about your grandmother’s life I can see her influence on you. You are following in her footsteps – as you too do great service for others in your work. My sincere condolences to you and your family.

Donna and family, so sad to hear that your Mom has passed. She was a special Lady. I met her many times when I was visiting my Mom, Ida Leonard. I remember the lovely Cream Puffs she brought to Moms Birthday parties. Bless her and your family.

DONNA AND FAMILY
Your mom was so good to me in my growing up yrs . Many meals and treats for us young girls .. Nan never changed always hugged us like we were part of the family .. your parents I will always hold close to my heart…

Donna and family,
My family and I extend our deepest condolences on the passing of your dear mother, Florence. I have so many memories of our childhood, as a cousin close to her age, growing up in our little settlement of Crow Head, Twillingate. I was so lucky to have many of my cousins next door. starting with the boys Larry and Fred and the girls Monica, Ivy, Florence, Margaret and Elsie. We remained close and they were so kind and generous when I first moved here as a newcomer to live in Mount Pearl. It saddens me greatly that we have all lost this lovely person. Rest in peace dear Florence.
Alf Sharpe

To Donna and all members of Florence’s family,
we extend our sincere condolences and our abundant gratitude for Florence’s generous contributions to her community and province.
Florence gave 60+ years of service through the Mount Pearl Lioness Club and the Mount Pearl Lions Club and has made such a life-changing difference for the many people that she helped. Her giving spirit and loving heart were an inspiration to all who interacted with her, especially other Lioness and Lion members.
Thank you for sharing your Mom, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, with us.
Sending our thoughts, prayers and and appreciation to each of you,
members of the Mount Pearl Lions Club

Donna & Wayne, Christopher, and families:
We have such treasured memories of Florence (and Fred) and share in your grief, in this temporary separation. We know that life on earth must end, but that doesn’t minimize our sense of loss.
Donna, we are proud to have known your Mom & Dad; and so happy that our parents also had the opportunity to spend time with and get to know your parents. Mom loved the ‘candy-packing’ time with your Mom!
We pray that God will give you comfort and peace, and the hope of sharing eternity.
with our love,
Claudette & Gerald
