My sister Catherine and I were her Boston buddies. Unfortunately, we just found out today that she passed. We’re so shocked & sad that we didn’t get the chance to see her once again.
We met her at the hotel were we stayed. And instantly became friends.
She came here and visited. She loved sitting at my parents kitchen table enjoying a cup of tea and chatting with my dad about NL, as that’s where his family is from.
We visited The Rock six times. We always had a wicked good time especially with Geraldine.
.we lovingly called her, ‘G’ . she may have left us all, but the great memories will always stay, here in the hearts of those who loved her.
We’ll never forget you ‘G’ thanks for the great times we got to share with you!🎇 love always,,
Bobbie (Baggs) Arico.

With great sadness and shock have I just learned of Gerri’s passing (July 18th 2022). She emailed me on my birthday May 3 and we spoke over the phone after that. We became long distance good friends. We had long meaningful conversations over the past, oh I don’t know how many years. My husband Frank knew her when he and his family lived in Newfoundland in the late 1960’s. She was a wonderful caring friend and I will miss our conversations so much. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. I have emailed and phoned over the past couple of weeks wondering if everything was alright. Well, I have my answer. Rest in peace dear Gerri.
With love,
Gayle and Frank Burggraaf
To Nick and Abby…if you would be so kind as to email me I would like to connect with you

Jamie, Jeremy and Family,

Shocked and saddened to hear of your mother’s passing. She was such a nice and caring lady. She always had a way of making people laugh. We all have precious memories of times spent with her. Be assured our thoughts and prayers are with you all now and in the days ahead.
Deepest sympathy to you.

Cousin Madeline and family.

So saddened to say hear that Geraldine is no longer with us. I remember her well from Wesley Church when she was in the CGIT girl’s group and I was in the Sigma-C boy’s group. We met several times over the years and she was ALWAYS a joy to meet. Always brightened up your day!
So very unfortunate that she didn’t make the High School Reunion planned for this coming July. My most sincere condolences to all of her family. A lovely, caring Lady who will be missed by many.

I always thought I’d see her, one more time again. Our dear cousin Geraldine … she made folks feel ever so loved and respected. She cared about people and showed it when asking sincerely how they were.
And that smile!
She touched a lot of lives, and she was dearly loved.
My condolences to all.
Cousin Judith
