Obituary
Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre in the presence of her loving family, Glenda Mercer aged 70 years.
Predeceased by her parents William and Ruby Mercer; brother Paul Mercer; nephew Donnie King; and brother-in-law Cyril Squires.
Leaving to mourn her sisters Jean Squires, Shirley Fitzpatrick (Kevin), Debbie Mercer and Linda Mercer; brothers Donald King (Joyce), William Mercer (Cathy), and Randy Mercer (Marilyn); favourite and special aunt to nine nieces, four nephews, as well as great nieces and great nephews.
Cremation has taken place. Due to COVID-19 restrictions we look forward to having a celebration of life when possible to include all of Glenda’s family and friends.

My deepest condolences to Glenda’s family, I first met Glenda when she worked at The factory in Topsail making licence plates. I worked in the next bldg for starlite paints. So I would pass her area daily, she was know as Whistles. Then we worked together at Grace Hospital laundry. Then onto Central kitchen. May she Rest In Peace.
