Dear Margaret and family,
Our sympathy to you on the death of your Mother.
We had many chats with her over the years. She and Doug were truly innovative and creative when it came to running a business. They were always forward thinkers, building together a very successful Pharmacy meeting the needs of all of us in the neighbourhood for 50 years.
Sorry for your loss.

So sorry to hear the news of Helen’s passing, both Elizabeth and I send our sincere condolences to you all. The friendship between our families go back a long time, and although everyone gets on with their own lives, the connection remains. I had a lot of respect for Helen always enjoyed chatting with her. As owners of family businesses , we often shared stories of common interest. and would occasionally bounce ideas off one another. To me, Hellen was a true lady who was very supportive of family and friends.

Bev and I send our condolences to you, Margaret.
Bev knew your mother through her family, mostly on her grandmother’s side.
However I knew your mother as a wonderful customer over many years.
When I first opened my gallery in the old Hotel Newfoundland, and shortly after when we moved into the “new” hotel (the “new” hotel is almost 40 years old!) she was a regular visitor who purchased pictures for her staff and customers. She always brought a smile and stories to Carol, the manager of my gallery. Carol would call me later and tell me that Mrs. Butt was just there for an hour or two.. She bought a picture and and they had wonderful talk. Your mother made her day! She was a very engaging, a pleasure to deal with, and a marvelous repeat customer. over a long time.
She was a very classy lady.

I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. Sending sincere condolences from all of us at this very sad time

Mr. Butt, Margaret and family,

Sincere sympathy on the passing of Mrs. Butt, I’m certain she will be greatly missed by all her family and friends..

Parkdale Pharmacy, and the family business that it represented was a proud example to our profession, and a style of practice and proprietorship that is sadly not as common as is used to be in former years.

You are not alone in treasuring Helen’s memory.

Dear Doug and family. We were so sorry to learn of Helen’s passing. Please our accept our sincere condolences.

Bob and family ; Sorry to hear of your sisters passing kindly accept our sincerest sympathy,. God bless. Neville/Eileen..

As one of the Bridge Girls, I can say that many happy Monday mornings were spent playing bridge at your Mother’s home. She was a wonderful hostess. I only came to know your Mother through bridge. She was an excellent player. You could never pull a fast one on Helen because she knew every play. There will be a space at our table that can never be filled.

On behalf of the General Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Association, I want to express our sincere sympathy to Margaret and the Butt Family on the recent passing of Mrs Butt. When we resume our annual Alumni dinners, Mrs Butt will be remembered in a minute of silence for all recently deceased graduates. Also her name will be recorded in the Alumni Memorial Book which honours our deceased graduates. Sincerely, Jeanette Walsh, on behalf of Robert Meadus, President, General Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Association.

Margaret. , my sincere condolences on the loss of your Mother.

Our sincere condolences to Doug , Margaret and all the members of the Butt family. My family and I have known Helen, Doug and Margaret for over thirty years, since I first became connected with The Kirk as assistant organist to Dr. Peters back in 1989. I sang with Margie in the choir for about four years back then. I was happy to reconnect with the family when I became music director (organist and choir director) at The Kirk in 2016. Helen will be dearly missed by all of us at The Kirk.

Was so sorry to hear of Helen’s passing. Our condolences to all the family and most especially our dear neighbours. Hugs and prayers to you Margaret and Joe.
