Janette Beryl Fowler (nee Winsor)

March 20, 1940 to August 22, 2023

Obituary

It is with great sadness and broken hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Janette “Beryl” Fowler, at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital in St. John’s. After a long battle with crohn’s disease and COPD, our beautiful mom is now at peace.

Predeceased by husband Chesley Charles Fowler; her parents Frederick and Iola Winsor of New-Wes-Valley; sisters Emma (Winsor) Simms from Deer Lake, and Stella (Winsor) Whitney from Deer Lake.

Left behind to forever remember our mom are brother Robert Winsor and wife Linda from New Brunswick; sister June Winsor of St. John’s; children Cindy (husband Rainer), Charlie, Joanne, Stacia, Larry, and Stephen (wife Colleen); and grandchildren Samantha (husband Jason), Charlotte, and Maggie. We will always carry you in our hearts and your memory will never fade.

We would like to thank Bishops Gardens for all you have done for our mom. Your passionate care has not been unnoticed and is greatly appreciated.

Cremation has taken place as requested by our mom and a private family celebration of life will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation or COPD Foundation.

Mom, you were sown here on earth only to bloom in Heaven. We love you and will miss you always.
