Jill and John and family, so sorry for the loss of your beautiful sister Jennifer. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

My condolences to Jennifer’s family and friends on her passing. Although Jennifer and I were in the same graduating class at Holy Heart, I did not know her during our high school years. It was when we worked together one summer at the former Janeway Hospital in Pleasantville during our undergraduate years where we got to know one another. We worked in the Medical Records Department. My memory of Jennifer is that she was caring in her work, down to earth, and interested in knowing others. She was strikingly beautiful, smart, and very funny, borderline goofy. Whether it was in the line up at the cafeteria or while sorting and filing charts, in the ordinariness of our work, there was always something hilarious that went down involving Jennifer that she shared to make us all laugh; that’s a gift of an extraordinary person. It was lovely to have known her. I wish Jennifer’s family and friends peace at this difficult time.

John, Heather and families, please accept my heartfelt condolences on the passing of Jennifer. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very difficult time.
Hugs 🙏

Jeff and Family,

Offering our deepest condolences at this time. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Scott and Cora.

To the Goodland and King Families

It is with a heavy heart that I try to express how sad I feel that Jennifer has passed away.
Dave, Stefanie and Katie, my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen so many people attend visitation. It’s a testament to Jennifer knowing that all these people and more knew her and loved her.

Stefanie and Katie, you are both beautiful young ladies. There’s no doubt that your mother and father raised you up to be sincere, respectful, intelligent and special best friends. Cherish the memories you shared as a family. Your mother’s love for you, her mother, her siblings, friends, pets, home, garden and even people she didn’t know are just a few treasures you can talk about when you need to reflect.

Take some comfort in knowing that your mother is at peace and her beautiful smile will shine through you, in your heart, your smile and your eyes.

God Bless You
Love Alice

Stefanie and Katie and all family members…we are saddened to learn about Jennifer’s death.. On behalf of the members of the General Hospital School of Nursing Alumni, we wish to express to the Goodland and King families our deepest sympathy at Jennifer’s passing.. At our annual Alumni dinner this year, Jennifer will be remembered during the roll call and moment of silence to honor deceased graduates and her name will be recorded in the Alumni Memorial Book. Sincerely, Jeanette Walsh, on behalf of Robert Meadus, President, General Hospital School of Nursing Alumni

Peace and comfort to the King and Goodland family and sharing in your sadness on the unexpected loss of such a beautiful person. My first memories of Jennifer go back to nursing school in 1984 when the General Hospital nursing students from St. John’s or surrounding areas had been given rooms on the 7th floor of Southcott Hall. There were a small group of us that quickly developed friendships and lasting memories of youth . I did not realize my sister in law to be was a very good friend of Jennifer’s back then and so years later when I fondly first saw her at a family function I immediately said Jennifer remember the time in school … immediately the biggest smile would cross her face and we would burst out laughing reminiscing so hard that we would have tears of laughter in our eyes. Every single time I saw her over the years this is how our conversations always began. I’ll never forget the magnitude of her smile or her laugh. Jennifer loved telling me about her dog Willow and often talked about her to me sending me all sorts of pics. Knowing I was a dog lover she never stopped asking about mine.
I always admired Jennifer, she was elegance and grace .

It is my deepest belief that all of life is energy and energy doesn’t just end. While her time here may have come to pass please know her energy has not. Keep her alive in your thoughts and memories . While one part of our lives as we know it ends, another begins. We all share the same journey and this is Jennifer’s time for hers .

I am not in the province to attend any services however my thoughts and prayers are with you all as you
celebrate her life and the beautiful bright light she was .

To John, Heather and the King Family. So very sorry to learn of Jennifer’s passing. Sending our deepest condolences on your loss. Love, Lorraine and Art.

We are so shocked and saddened to hear of Jennifer’s passing. So many fond and wonderful memories growing up on Winter Ave as neighbours and good friends extending into many years after. She was such a lovely and kind soul always ready for a few laughs reminiscing of back in the day.
Our deepest condolences to all her family ,at this very difficult time.

I offer my deepest condolences to the King family and Jennifer’s daughters on her passing. I will hold my memories dear of our childhood summers spent at Riverdale tennis and evenings spent playing spotlight and other nocturnal activities with the gang from Glenridge Cresent, Winter Avenue and Winter Place. Once the summer came to and end, we would settle in for after school activiites, chief amoung them Giocoso Singers rehearsals where Jennifer, Suzanne and I would always dive for the prime seating of Mrs Steele’s antique sofa in the drawing room. We gave it quite a work out much to her chagrin and spent much of rehearsals in fits of laughter in the back of the room. Happy memories indeed. May her memory give you great comfort through the days ahead.

We were so saddened to learn of Jennifer’s passing and you are all in our thoughts and prayer’s.. Jennifer was my first friend and long term neighbour growing up on Winter Ave. For well over 50 years we maintained a great friendship, always sharing a laugh from times gone by. Her vivacious smile and ever pleasant manner will be etched in our minds forever and may all the great memories of her help you through this difficult time.
