Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a dear son, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, John Patrick Bennett, aged 68 years on August 1, 2023. Predeceased by his parents John and Josephine (Burke) Bennett, sister Paulette Bennett, cousin Teena Harris, and nephew Patrick Bennett Jr.
Leaving to mourn brothers Patrick Bennett, Rick Bennett, and Paul Bennett; sisters Barb Best, Rose Lawlor, and Jaki Gades; sons John Bennett Jr. and Stephen Bennett; daughters Rebecca Bennett, Tammy Bennett, and Lori Bennett; and special friend, the mother of their children Rhonda Campbell.
Thank you to family, friends, Carnell’s Funeral Home, and a special thanks to Rick Bennett for being his caregiver over the past few years.
John will be laid to rest with his father on Friday, August 11, at 11 a.m. at Holy Sepulchre.

I want to send my sincere condolences to the family. I had the pleasure of meeting John aka Buster through the years. Always a welcoming smile and always reminding me he was family even though not closely related. He will be missed by many.
