Obituary
Kimberley passed peacefully at her home in St. John’s, NL.
Predeceased by her mother Alice Clancy.
Leaving to mourn her husband of 21 years Sam, children Caitlin, Liam and Keelan; her father Raymond; her brother Thomas (Charlene); mother and father in law Linda and Sam Wells Sr; sister in law Renee English (Matthew), as well as a large circle of friends and family.
Kim could be rough around the edges, and brash at times; but she also had one of the biggest hearts of anyone I know, and she stuck to her principles whether they aligned with ours or not.
Kim was never one to bite her tongue or hold back. She often barreled through life like a human Kool-Aid man – when she was in the room, you knew it.
Kim would face the devil and champion a cause without so much as blinking… she was a person you’d much prefer to have in your corner than face in the opposite corner.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will take place this summer.

I am so broken hearted to hear of Kim’s passing. We had connected lately and chatted about my mom who Kim was very close to growing up. ( her Aunt Mary). She was loved by many and had a beautiful heart. My sincere condolences to Chuck, Donnie, and her beautiful family of whom she was so very proud.

She was a force. We went to Pius X and I still remember her from there. I was even retelling some story about her just the other day. If she left such a lasting memory to me from all those years ago, I can’t imagine the loss you will endure. I’m so very sorry.

Sam, Keegan, Liam, Caitlin and family., I was so deeply saddened to hear of Kim’s passing. She was a beautiful person who cared deeply and loved you fiercely. She was so proud of each one of you, and spoke very highly of you.
She was a great neighbour who was always there to help and support me in any way possible, sometimes taking it upon herself to step in (without my knowledge) when she knew her input could make a difference. I’ll always appreciate her for that. I will certainly miss our long chats as well as our brief ones from deck to deck. She was a character, always had a story to stare and a heart of gold to share in so many ways.

Kim was my welcome party when I moved to the same area that Kim resided. Full of life, very chatty and friendly. She had the kind side and the “don’t mess with me” we recently have been back in contact after many years. Due to distance and growing up to new adventures.
This woman has left an impression on St. John’s and surrounding areas. Thinking of her family at this very difficult time. She loves all of you!

Our thoughts and prayers are with family and many friends of Kim.
Although living in Ontario all these years kept me from seeing Kim often, our occasional visits and phone calls immediately reminded me that she never changed a bit. Every chat started with an update on the joy of her life, her reason to be, Sam and her kids. Kim was so proud of their every accomplishment at Cadets, music, school and life in general.
Starting with our time together at St. Pius X, Kim faced adversity with fierce determination. She wore her big heart on her sleeve, she wasn’t afraid to let it all out and she always committed to overcome any obstacle. The world needs more people like Kim which makes her sudden passing even more difficult to process.
Family, friends and faith will get everyone through this sad time and allow focus on the impact our kind and loyal friend had on others. Good bless you Kim, you are loved, you will be missed and you will never be forgotten.
I was shocked to hear about Kim’s passing. I’ve known her forever it seems, and I’ll always remember her and how wonderful it felt just to be in her presence. Back before her and Sam were married i remember her talking about how amazing he was and how much she loved him, how amazing is it that she got to spend so many years with that kind of love and to grow a family from that. My sincere condolences to all her family and friends.
I wish to send my deepest condolences to my former students Keelan and Liam in the passing of your mom. Your mom and I always got along quite well and we had great chats together when we met. She was very proud of your accomplishments, especially with the school band and Biology class. She was your biggest supporter in everything you did.

I worked with Kim at CVG/NGA and counted her as part of my work family. There were definitely no back doors with Kim and I loved her for it. I can truly say she was a genuine person and the most fierce Mama Bear when it came to championing her family. My deepest condolences to you all. RIP Kim.

Sincere Condolences to Kim’s family and to everyone who loved her. I know there are a lot. To me Kim was larger than life! She noticed when anyone needed kindness or help, and she put the needs of others above herself. She was a doer! To her children, may you always feel her strength, her love, her energy. i was so shocked to hear of Kims passing . I only spoke to her 2 days before and we made plans to visit. Her last message she sent me was her number and the next day she was gone. I never got a chance to call .She was very special and i appreciated her friendship especially the last 2 years.
