Deepest condolences to Elizabeth and family in the loss of Leonard.. I remember fondly our trips to Dunville and the time we spent with your family there and in Little Bay. He was a very sweet, kind and happy man who seemed to adore his family and life. Thinking of you all at this difficult time.

I have been in Mr. Doody’s company many times. He was such a sweet man with lots of stories, especially about his home. He’d show me the picture he had hanging on the wall and tell me all about it. He loved a game of crib as well. I wasn’t very good at it, but he was very patient. Rest in peace sweet angel. My condolences to all the family and Mrs. Doody. God Bless

My earliest memories are of his smiling face and mischievous sense of humour. It was always fun when uncle Leonard , aunt Betty and the gang stopped at our house on their way home from Placentia or elsewhere. Whether he was busting my knuckles or telling a story about one of his uncles in Duricle it always ended in a laugh. Such a wonderful and delightful man. He will be missed but never forgotten.
