Obituary

Passed away with her family at her side at the Palliative Care Unit at the Miller Centre at the age of 69.  Predeceased by her parents Ben and Mary Strickland, and parents-in-law William and Theresa Bartlett.  Left with a lifetime of fond and loving memories her husband Jim, daughters Leslie, Ann (Keith), Brenda Lee; sons Travis (Ashley), Clyde (Samantha), Brent; grandchildren Jasmine, Amber, Brooklyn, Damian, Autumn, William, Zachary, and Nolan; sisters Rhonda (Sheriff), Liz (Tom), Madonna (Ambrose), and Linda (Wayne), Lorraine (Rick), and Dolores (Richard); brothers Ben, Pat (Judy), Frank, and Ted (Charlene); sisters-in-law Mary, Marg, Debbie, and Brenda (Richard); nephews Daniel, Liam, Thomas, and Jonathon; niece Jessica; great-nieces and nephews Brooklyn, Kolton, Abigail and Jack, and large circle of extended family and friends. 

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff at the Palliative Care Unit for their compassionate care of Linda, and their care and attention to the family during her stay, the staff of 4West at St. Clare’s, and Drs. Rolfe, Trahey, and Reddy for their kindness.

Cremation has taken place.  A private family committal will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Donations in Linda’s memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Canadian Cancer Society’s Daffodil Place, or the Children’s Wish Foundation.

Bartlett Family, I was introduced to Jim and Linda while I was teaching at St Matthew’s school. They were very supportive of their grandchildren and made sure that they all had the support they needed to do well. Linda had a beautiful personality. She was a very kind lady with an enormous heart.
