Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre in the presence of her family on January 19, 2018, Lois MacDonald. Predeceased by her husband Barron and eldest son Barron. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children Terry (Janice), Shane (Karen), Sharon, Dean (Tracy) and Susan (Wilson); daughter in law Nancy; grandchildren John, Andrew, Marlo, Ashley, Danny, Rylan, Shayna, Sara, Katie, Cody, Scott, Brett, Drew, Lisa, Nick, Matthew and Erin; great grandchildren Kalem, Ammi, Jakob, Jaida, Raiden, Leo, Zoey and Ayden; also, a large circle of relatives and friends. A special thank you to the staff of 4 South B, especially Rupert Collins and Jamie Parrott, for their care and compassion shown towards Mom during her illness. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 from the Carnell Memorial Chapel at 3:00 p.m. followed by a celebration of Mom’s life at the Banshee Bar, 7 Plank Road. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lois’ memory may be made to The Arthritis Society of Newfoundland.

Very sorry to hear of Lois’s passing. I enjoyed her many visits to my Hair Salon over the past 17 years. It was always clear that her family was her life and she loved to keep up with everyone’s accomplishments.. Condolences to all the family.
