My family moved across the street from Mrs. Miller in 1992. I lived in manuals as a young boy. I would be with my friends and buy from the miller’s shop. My parents are John and the late Carrie Gosse. She was a nice lady. I would do odd jobs for her . I moved away for a few years and returned back to topsail over a year now. I became close to mrs. Miller and I often did odd jobs for her . I will miss seeing her light on and the wave of her hand as she would say hello and ask me how my day was. She was always up for a good conversation. She lived a full and long life. My condolences to the family.

Marj and Jim were great friends of my Uncle Coe and Aunt Hazel. We would see them occasionally in their company – always friendly, interested and caring.
Another great lady gone to heaven we are sure. We are certain she will be missed by her family and friends. God speed.

Our family knew Mrs. Miller from when they had their store. She was such a lovely lady, always had a lovely smile. To her family we send sincere sympathy.

Sorry to hear of Aunt Marje’s passing but thankful for her long and dignified life. I have many fond memories of her and Uncle Jim over the years especially the ones at their cabin ” Split Rock” on the Witless Bay Line. Whenever we’d meet over the years we always enjoyed seeing and catching up with each other. RIP beautiful lady..love Maud

So sorry to hear of Aunt Marge’s passing. I have fond memories of visiting her as a child and also as an adult with my family. She was a lovely person.
Aunt Marge was the last of my mother’s family. She will be dearly missed

I will surely miss you Mrs. Miller. I have been your PCA worker for over a year. I moved to topsail from western newfoundland and You became my best friend. I am the lady from across the street. You always said I was your nurse when you introduced me to your guess. I had the honour and privilege of knowing an amazing, empowered, beautiful soul. The angels are singing their praises as they welcome you into the kingdom of heaven. Their is no word in the Mi’kmaq language for good-bye so I will end with see you again someday my friend.

May she rest in Peace
