Mary Ann Tucker (nee Thompson)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, and great grand mother on Saturday, May 7^th, 2022, at the Health Sciences Centre, Mary Ann Tucker (nee Thompson), age 85 years.

Predeceased by parents Bill and Stella (Butler) Thompson, sisters, Elizabeth Westcott (Doug) and Annie Owens (Kevin), brothers John Thompson (Geraldine) and James Thompson (Loretta), and her common law partner of 20 years, Joe Churchill.

Leaving to mourn her loving daughters, Stella Ryan (Larry) and Anna Tucker; grandchildren: Melissa (Christian), Christopher (Jen), and Zachery; great grand daughter, Grace; brother Willie Thompson; special niece Ann (Larry MacDonald); also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thank you to the nurses and staff of Pleasantview Towers for their care and support.

Cremation has taken place.

Visitation will take place at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd. from 6-9 p.m. Monday, May 9^th.

Funeral service will take place on Tuesday May 10^th, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel, Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Lung Association.
