Uncle Gord (Doris); In-laws, Bren (Carol Ann), Vicky (Colin), Jane (Blair), Nancy (Peter), Ron (Paula), Doug
(Georgina), Carol (Jeff), Father-in-law, Bren Sr. (Judy), a number of nieces (Christina, Kayla,

KALEIDOSCOPE
My memories stir feelings
and emotions deep inside.
I feel once more, the times I laughed
and the times I sat and cried.
I can see the outlines clearly…
the people and the faces,
but years have blurred the details
of specific dates and places.
When these memories were moments,
I didn’t know how much they mattered…
pieces of my life’s imperfect quilt
all jumbled, torn and tattered.
Faded are the timestamps
on every tea and smile;
the memories outlast the moments
that are here for just awhile.
Like a Kaleidoscope of colours –
each turning twisting shape is a moment
morphed into a memory
before it could escape.
They give me strength to face
that which I cannot foresee.
they mold my past and present
they make up who is me.

I just learned of Michelle’s passing last night, and I have spent the time since trying to find the right words for here.
I still don’t have the right words.
The time I spent living next door to Michelle and Bill are some of the happiest days of my life.
Michelle, Bill and I were real family. With Michelle I could let down my guard. Michelle truly looked in to your eyes and listened to you when you spoke. No cliche – Michelle cared. Her smile is truly amazing and disarming.. Michelle’s eyes truly sparked when she smiled and giggled – I will always remember that. Me in a mess from mowing the lawn and Michelle in her rubber boots while gardening, the two of us taking a break and sharing a laugh. I always felt better about myself and the world after being around Michelle..
I can’t go on more here even though I can go on forever. I am heartbroken.
Michelle, Bill – you are the best. I love you both.
Bill,
So sorry for the loss of your beloved wife. Sincere condolences to you and your family. Thinking of you all.
Take care,
Pamela Kavanagh(Linehan)
Bill and family,
We are shocked and saddened to hear about Michelle’s passing today. She was truly one kindest, most beautiful people we have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Our girls loved to visit, especially at Halloween, when Michelle and Bill ( and Migo!) greeted them at the door with matching costumes. Michelle always made them feel special. She made everyone who met her feel special. Her genuine smile, beautiful laughter and twinkle in her eye is something we will always remember. God bless and keep you, Michelle. Our prayers are with you, Bill and family.
It was an honour to have worked with Michelle a few years ago at Eastern Health. Always a smile and a laugh but always so knowledgeable and helpful. Such an amazing person and I’m truly heartbroken at her passing.
