Fond memories at the Burt house having a meal, watching TV and just being kids. The Burt recroom was well used. Apologies for all the go-karts we built and left scattered about the yard….

To Carl, Gary and the Burt Family sorry to hear of Paul’s passing. I met Paul many years ago and after a sentence or two I said to him, “You’re from Bay de Verde!” so I asked him if he had known my dad, Joe Doyle and sure enough he had. Paul and I chatted many times over the years about Bay de Verde and its people. A few years ago I and my two sons dropped in to visit Paul and Shirley at their home in Bay de Verde, we were on an epic bicycle trip from St. John’s unannounced to anyone and Paul welcomed us in for a rest and a meal. I have many relatives in Bay de Verde from the Doyle family from my Dad and also the Coish family from my Mother’s (Tizzard/Coish) side. Paul was a good friend, rest in peace Paul.
