It is with heavy hearts, that we announce the passing of Paul. Predeceased by his parents Gordon and Maria, brother in laws Blaise Dunne, Gerald Cross, Robert Green, Harry Cross, Curtis Cross and many friends. Leaving to mourn are his wife Roxanne, daughters Alyssa (Jordan Porter) and Emma (Nic Vey), his sisters Jeanette Crocker and Doreen Whelan (Bill), sister in laws Ann Green, Sheila Cross and Una Marsden, brother in laws Fred Cross (Doris), Herb Cross (Gertrude), Randy Cross (Brenda), numerous nephews and nieces, extended family and many friends.

Croc, as he was known, lived his life to the fullest. His girls grew up joining him on his adventures on the water and in the woods. His family experienced many occasions with his lead and experience. With his zest for life and love of outdoors, the grass didn’t grow under his feet. His annual outings with “the brothers” were highly anticipated, it was a ritual starting days before and “what happened at camp, stayed at camp”. He had many lifelong friends and was included and accommodated as long as possible. Paul settled in St. Philips in the 70’s and his neighbours became friends.

Paul worked in sales all of his life, from his teen years at Atlas Sales to most recently Novopharm Teva. He always exceeded his best and was a company man through and through. Paul will be missed by his many friends he has met on his journey life. Friends from his teen years, friends from his professional life, friends from boating and Clattice Harbour, friends across Canada from biking skidooing, hunting and fishing. Paul’s last 7 years at Pleasant View Towers was a time to make new friends and our thank you to those who knew and cared for him there.

Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 17 from 11am-2pm and 3pm-9pm. Funeral service will be held at St. Philip’s Anglican Church on Friday, January 19 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Paul to a charity of your choosing.

Roxanne & Family!
It was with shock and pain we received the sad news that our good friend/brother had passed!
Though it was expected when the news came it was still hard to read!
I know the brothers will be there in numbers to see him off.
We will remember our last big get together several years ago and the pictures from over the many years of Bike Runs and good fun times anywhere will be of some comfort!
His great laugh and Big smile will never be forgotten!

Sorry …I won’t make the visitation nor the funeral as I am spending all my time looking after Percy,,,,Henry and Bob.

Roxanne and family,,
I am so sorry to have learned the news of Paul. I had the privilege of working with Paul in the pharmaceutical industry for the better part of 15 years. We done a lot of business together during that time, he was with Novopharm and I was with McKesson. He was a man of integrity, you always knew where you stood with him and I cherished that. His work ethic was impeccable, I would always see him in my travels around NL. I have dearly missed our random supper meetings and business conversations since he retired. The respect I have for Paul is profound as when I first started out in the industry, he taught me the lay of the land so to speak and everything I needed to know about each of my clients. Not because he needed to, because he wanted to. He wanted to help me succeed in my job.. It was the type of guy he was. Paul will be dearly missed by many in the industry, I have dearly missed Paul as a colleague but more importantly I will miss him as a friend.
Rest easy “Croc”

Roxanne and family

Roxanne and family my sincere condolences on the passing of Paul, one of my longest known friend. I’m in shock this morning on the notice of his passing From childhood friends growing up on Hennebury Place to becoming business associates, Paul with Novapharm and I with Shoppers Drug Mart, he was always a true and trusted friend. We had many great times together through skidooing at Pitts Pond to golfing many times at our or his golf tournaments. A true gentleman and tremendous friend. He will be sorely missed.. During his sickness I thought of him numerous occasions but couldn’t call Roxanne to find out how he was doing. My mistake, one I will have to live with. RIP Paul , my lifetime buddy.

Rocky and family,
Sad to hear of Paul’s passing. Dad is very sad as well. Who is Dad going to collect (hoard) Ensure for now. Lol.
Your devotion and commitment to Paul and those you love and cherish has not been lost.

Sending heartfelt sympathy to you and your girls,

Dale and Gordon Doyle

I am deeply sorry for your loss. When I joined Teva in 2012, Paul made it a point for us to get together as his clients were also his friends. He wanted to make sure they were in good hands and taken care of. In the short time I spent with Paul it was very clear to see the man he was. Very loyal, and committed to his family, friends, colleague and clients. Paul was a mentor to me in my new role and I enjoyed our many lunches and coffee chats. Rest easy Croc.
