My sincere condolences to Rita’s family. I had the privilage of knowing this beautiful lady and co-worker for a number of years. She was a true friend to everyone and so full of life and it was such a joy to be in her presence.. Heaven has gained another angel. R.I.P.

My Aunt Rita was, witty, loving and always a big part of my life fom childhood to adulthood.

She was very gracious, unpretentions, and so full of energy to bring humour to any family gathering.

I will always keep her memory close to my heart!

My mother (Marcelle Martin) adored Aunt Rita. She raved about the nice time she had visiting with her in Newfoundland. Rita was a special lady indeed and we are so sad to hear this news. RIP Aunt Rita.

I have known Rita for a long time, since she was a dear friend to my mother-in-law, Winnie, and her husband, Gerald. The last of the immediate Bursey family and really the end of an era for Rita’s family and her many friends who hung around together and lived life to the fullest in their youthful heyday. Roar In Paradise (RIP) beautiful woman on your heavenly reunification.. God speed, Rita, on your heavenly journey.

Aunt Rita was a very special person and remembered by all our family rest in peace

Please accept our condolences on the loss of your aunt . May she fly high with the eagles and let her soul rest in peace .

We are heartbroken to hear the news of Rita’s passing.
Rita wasn’t only a friend for over 50 years, she was a part of our family. We spent so many fun, happy times with Rita over the years; dinners, Christmas Eves, birthdays, Labor Day weekend getaways and of course most of these events ended with a few hands of Scat.
Unfortunately with Covid these past number of months we have not been able to have our visits with Rita and didn’t have an opportunity to say goodbye.
We extend our deepest sympathy to all of her family. Rita will be forever in our hearts.
Rest in peace dear friend.

My thoughts and prayers go out to families of Rita. Rita worked in the Main Office with my uncle until the mines closed. She was also a friend of my parents. RIP Rita
