My sincere condolences to Ruby’s family on your loss.
I had the pleasure of meeting Ruby and her lovely family while out on Fogo Island this summer as a locum Doctor.
You all touched me deeply and my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Those beautiful eyes that gleamed when you looked at me,. The most giving heart. From Sunday dinners, to trips to and from the mall, impromptu visits and hugs most of all. You will not be forgotten. I will cherish the memories I hold of you with everlasting love, your niece!

My heart is broke with you all. Ruby was an incredible lady and a lady she was. I loved her spirit and most of all how she talked about her children and grandchildren. I will miss you Ruby.
