Passed peacefully away surrounded by her children after a short illness, Ruth Audrey Collins (Littlejohn). Predeceased by her husband William (Bill) Collins; parents Isaac and Gertrude Littlejohn; siblings Cynthia Steeman, Cybella Gollop, Hazel Power and Fred Littlejohn; son-in-law Roger Knee; daughter-in-law Audrey Collins. Leaving to mourn with many precious memories her children Debbie White (Randy), Douglas Collins (Carolann), Ruth Knee, Jeff Collins (Daphne); 10 grandchildren, Susan Skiffington (Corey), Douglas White, Melissa White, Pamela Knee, Robin Knee (April), Heather Knee (Matt), Jillian Noonan (Michael), Janine Walsh (Aaron), Shawn Collins (Felisha) (St. John, NB), Megan Monk (Josh); 14 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law George Gollop; special cousin Donna Arroyas (Alain) (London, ON); many nieces, nephews and friends. Special thank you to Kenny’s Pond Retirement Community especially 2nd floor staff, Dr. Patrick O’Shea, Keisha Pike and Kelsey Pike, Tina Butler and Mariena for your above and beyond care. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 17 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, December 17 at 2 p.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel, and will be live streamed. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Forest Road. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

So saddened by the passing of a dear friend. We were so thankful (through live stream)that we could share in the celebration of her life. A beautiful service for a beautiful lady. I have so many lovely memories of Ruth. I am so thankful and blessed to have spent time with her on our short visit to Nl. this summer. She will be sadly missed but forever in my heart. Hold dear to all the great memories. RIP Ruth

My deepest condolences to the whole family. Aunt Ruth was such a caring and wonderful person! I have such font memories of time spent with her when she would come to visit us in Ontario and also days spent visiting with her and playing in the yard! She will be missed by many.
