Heartfelt condolences Glenda to you and your family for the loss of your dear Mom. I remember meeting her a couple of times with you many years ago and remember her as such a warm and gracious woman. I know you enjoyed a beautiful relationship with her and surrounded her with loving care. May your memories of your wonderful life with her bring you peace and comfort in these difficult days.

May you rest in peace Ruth, you were my Mom’s best friend and will always remember the many times during my childhood that you were present at our house and as well during adulthood and your glorious smiles and when you always referred to us as “your darlings”!
Will hold you in our hearts forever and in memory of our Mom much loved! god bless!

Derek and family – needless to tell you, your mom was a wonderful lady whose kindness and joy impacted everyone who was fortunate to come into her presence. She always treated us with such gentleness; a person who always made such a positive influence on the lives she touched. She touched so many.

Glenda and family – So very sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. She was a beautiful lady inside and out. Both she and my Mom enjoyed many good times together with their bridge playing and their traveling as roommates while cruising. I truly know the loss you are feeling. I hope your sadness can be lessened as you remember her wonderful life and your own special memories. Thinking of you with love friendship at this very sad time.

Glenda, Derek & family my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time on the passing of your Mother Ruth Thomas.
Mrs. Thomas was an incredible lady, she was loving, caring and always there to help with a smile.
My thoughts are with you all and you will have great memories of your Mom forever and I will too..

Glenda, Brian , Derek , Nellie and family,
Your mother was a very special lady who embraced life and was a pleasure to know.
I enjoyed each time that I saw her and remember fondly her relationship with my mother. They were lifelong friends.
Her parents friends of my grandparents.
I am still processing the fact that Ruth is no longer here and can only imagine how you must feel right now.
You are in my thoughts at this difficult time.
Godspeed Ruth.

The Thomas Family,
I was saddened to read of your dear Mom’s death. I had only met your Mom when my Dad moved into Kenny’s Pond August of 2019. I would always remark to her how beautiful she looked. Simply elegant all the time. She was so kind and engaging with Dad and spoke with such pride of her family. I know how it feels to lose a parent. Dad died in May…and although both he and your Mom lived long and rich lives, their deaths are a time of great sadness as well. I am thinking of you and your family. God bless your lovely Mom.

Glenda, Sorry for the loss of your precious Mom. May your wonderful memories bring you comfort during this difficult time. Sincerely, Ruth Walsh

Derek and family, always loved running in to your mother from time to time, always smiling, upbeat, caring, etc., a beautiful person inside and out.

So sorry to hear of your loss especially at this time of the year. Ruth was a dear friend of my mother (Denise Butler) and they served over 50 years together on St. Augustine’s Altar Guild. One of my favorite memories of Ruth was her custom of referring to everyone as “my love” or “my darling”.

Glenda and families , so sorry to hear about your Mom .
Thinking about you at this time .

I was shocked and saddened to learn about Ruth’s
passing. It was only a short while ago she called me to see how Jean and I were doing.
She was indeed an elegant lady and a true and faithful friend to our family. My most vivid and lasting memory for me is when I was a student at MUN and it was a
stormy day. I knew there was a warm and welcoming refuge available at the Thomas Home opposite MUN. Her compassion and warmth will always be remembered.
To Derrick and Glenda and families we offer our sincere condolences. Ruth is reunited with Gordon
and my parents as well as the numerous friends she touched throughout her life.
Her memory will remain for a long time.
