I remember this beautiful lady when she volunteered at the PCU at the Miller Center, where I worked….she brightened up every room she entered..so pleasant, always spoke of her family whom she loved..may her beautiful soul rest in peace

To Ms. Clarke’s family:
Sometimes you get a teacher who instills a love of learning in you. She was that teacher for me. While I thought she was really old, (as a 8 year old in grade 3, every adult was old), i remeber she had such energy and a love for her students. She was firm but kind. She was the teacher for me, that taught me how to love reading and science and taught me how to ask the right questions.

I thought about her often over the years.

Sending my condolences to you all.

My condolences to Sadie’s family on the loss of a beautiful woman. I knew Sadie when she was a volunteer at the Palliative Care Unit at St.Clare’s. She was so gentle and compassionate. R.I.P. Sadie.

Marion, Dave and family,
Gerry and I send our condolences on the passing of your sister. May your happy memories bring solace in the coming days.

Very sorry to hear of Sadie’s passing. Shirley Babcock, Louise Barbour and I remember her from her visits on Thorburn Road. Like her I share the name Sadie Green and roots on Pinchard’s Island !.She was a dear friend of my cousin Winston(deceased).

My deepest condolences to Sadie’s family. I taught with Sadie for a number of years at Newtown Elementary. She was a competent and conscientious teacher who was always there for her students. She loved her family deeply and I always enjoyed her travel stories, especially the ones where she brought along her nieces and nephews as travelling companions. RIP Sadie and fly high with the angels.

To Sadie’s Family, I was saddened to hear of Sadie’s passing. She was a dear friend and colleague of mine at Newtown Elementary and we stayed in touch with our retirement group,, the Newts. Sadie taught my son and daughter in grade 4 and was an excellent teacher, loved and respected by her students, their parents and her colleagues. She will be missed by us all. Rest In Peace my friend and rise in glory.

So sorry to hear of Sadie’s passing. She was a very close lifelong friend of my late Grandmother, Charlotte Squires. I was very close to my grandmother and spent a fair bit of time with Sadie during my childhood, including a couple of summer trips to her brother’s place in Bunyan’s Cove. Happy memories with a wonderful lady. Condolences to her family and friends.

Clarke family,
So sorry to hear of Sadie’s passing. I have wonderful memories of a wonderful teacher and a sweet lady. She helped me so much, when I did classroom visits at Blackall in the 70’s, while working on my Education degree. I will always remember her kindness. Heather Saunders

Such a great loss of a very dear life long friend. Sadie was a beautiful person inside and out. She will be forever missed. My deepest condolences go out to her family.

Going to miss this litttle lady. We lived next door to her on Bragg Cres. She became like family to us. She was truly a special friend we loved her dearly. Condolences to her family. Heaven got a good one.

Marion,
I was saddened to learn of Sadie’s passing. She and my Mom (Hilda) became friends during their teaching years at Blackall. It was always so nice to reconnect with her and share memories of Mom. I remember, as a teenager, being in awe of her as she prepared for her trip to Belize.
Such an adventure in those days.
Thinking of you and your family during this difficult time.

I met Sadie many years ago when I worked at PCU at St. Clares. Sadie was a volunteer and she was such a nice lady and so good to the patients. God bless you sweet lady.

I was a student of Mrs. Clarkes, in the fourth grade. To this day, I consider her one of my most influential teachers.
The confidence that she had in my abilities, and the gentle way in which she encouraged us all has remained a memory that I still revisit often. She added magic and imagination to my childhood that will never be forgotten. She was incredibly kind and compassionate.
We were so lucky to have had her as a mentor and educator.
My sincerest condolences to Mrs. Clarkes family and friends.

So sorry to learn of Sadie’s passing. She was a delightful member of the NLTA Social Studies Council when I was president. Never stuck for an opinion she was a delight to be around. Another excellent teacher passes over the Rainbow bridge.

I met Sadie at Tiffany almost seven years ago and considered her a very dear friend. She had such a kind and caring way about her and was a great comfort to me at my difficult time. I will miss her and our many chats . My thoughts are with her family et this very sad time.

I am so saddened to learn of Sadie’s passing. I have such wonderful memories of her when we taught together at Blackhall School back in the 70’s. She was a very kind and gentle soul and we were like a family at that school. Sincere condolences to all her family.
