Saddened to learn of Gary’s mom’s passing and wish to offer my sincerest condolences in this your hour of great distress and sorrow.
My tribute to this beautiful lady is the third and final verse of my favourite song, ‘Great is thy Faithfulness.’ ”Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth, thy own own dear presence to cheer and to guide; Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow, blessings all mine with ten thousand beside.”
Be assured you’re in my prayers as I trust the good lord will enfold you with great love, comfort and strength on this sorrowful occasion..

Mel,
I just found out about this & am very sorry for the loss of your mom. So many mementoes of times spent at your place in Foxtrap….weekend sleep overs & hanging out after school & I remember your mom as a very sweet, soft spoken lady. Sending condolences to you all.

Gary, Pat and family. Thinking of you at this sad time. We are away and therefore could not deliver these wishes in person. Hold on to wonderful memories and may the love and support of family and friends bring you comfort and peace.

Dolly was a very special lady to me, I got to know her and Melvin through the church and many Saturday evenings were spent at their house in Foxtrap watching our beloved Canadians play hockey. I would call before heading down, to see what treat they wanted me to pick up, for us to snack on during the game. I so enjoyed those evenings with Dolly and Melvin. Dolly used to say to me” I can’t believe this is where you want to spend Your Saturday night. I lived every minute and didn’t want to be anywhere else. Rest well sweet Dolly and give Melvin a hug and a peck on the cheek for me❤️❤️

To the Rideout Family. We were so sorry to hear of Doll’s passing .We have a lot of memories of her in Buchans. She was a lovely person and we know she will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Graham and Shirley Flight.

What a beautiful photo of a beautiful lady! Sincerest sympathy on the passing of Doll. I remember her well from my youth in Buchans and it was always a joy to see her any time after that because she asked about my family and chatted about what life had been like living in the town we both loved. As you mourn her passing may memories of happier days bring comfort to you all.. God bless you. Len joins me in this expression of sympathy.
