So many memories and stories. Godspeed.

Neil and Ruth,
So sorry to hear the sad news.. I got to know Walter the past couple of years and spent numerous hours doing puzzles with Walter and dropping in for “chats”. Very down to earth man who enjoyed reminiscing about his earlier life growing up and the gardens he had outside the cottages growing various vegetables and plants.. Took him for visits to his sister when the weather permitted and he was well enough to go.. I know he enjoyed the visits with Ruth and the time Neil spent with him up to his room. RIP my friend!

Ruth, my condolences on the passing of your brother.

I hope that as you grieve the loss of your (great) grandfather, you remember, and take time to share with one another, the special memories of him and celebrate the long life that he had. It’s a select few that live to see a century pass by, he was so close to that milestone, and that is something worth celebrating.
