Wally has been a dear friend and part of our family for many years. His joy was to give; whether it was cooking or taking care of everyone in any way he could.Wally first came on the scene when Coute took him under his wing. Oh the stories; you couldn’t make them up. Wally was always positive , never bored and it was a pleasure to be in his company. He never complained and I know he suffered at lot at times. He loved his family, friends, neighbours and strangers ( never a stranger for long) Wally had a good sense of humour. He would always say I should give him a pedicure for half price since he only had one foot.lol Wally will be greatly missed by the Maidment Family and by all who knew him..I find comfort in the fact that he was a happy camper both on Blackmarsh Rd.with Mrs.Janes and in his apartment on Lynch pl. He was strong as an Ox but wouldn’t hurt a fly.. I will miss you so much Wally. RIP my friend.

So sorry to hear this. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family.

To Wally’s family ,
My condolences on the loss of your brother Wally .Wally was a good man with great strength & a positive attitude ..He will be missed by all who loved ..Rip Wally .

Sorry for the loss of a great person. Wally had a hard life but he never ever showed it. He would do anything to help a friend. He always had a big feed on Sundays when he was living at our place on Blackmarsh rd. He would dress up as Santa when selling Christmas trees and then sell bird houses and fireplaces always with a happy attitude. I guess he will be having a big feed with the angels above this Sunday. Rest in peace Wally

Wally was always a pleasure to be around! In my Blackmarsh Rd days we saw him lots, Wally was always up for a good time! Seen him almost daily going back and forth to Gullivers Farm. I haven’t seen him in quite a few years as I live out of province, but he was never far from my thoughts. My sincere condolences to the family. May he now rest peacefully

Rest in peace, Wally. You were a genuine person, I’ll always remember our adventures fondly.

Wally will be remembered by the Maidment family with loving thoughts. Our patents, Helen and Melvin loved him dearly. He would come to our country cabin back in the day and spend time with us on the weekends.. we had lots of fun! Without a doubt, Wally will be remembered most for his kindness. He loved serving others. He practiced love thy neighbour in acts of service! I pray for eternal rest upon his soul. Wally, may you soar with the angels! Anna-Marie Kean

My condolences to the Pittman family. I would have a chat with Wally from time to time and found him to be the salt of the earth type of guy. My aunt Joan Mahon at Lynch Place knew Wally and considered him to be a real friend and was truly shocked and saddened by his passing . I’m pretty sure that Wally is comfortable in his new Heavenly home. May God Rest His Soul.
