It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Warick Churchill on October 24, 2023, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 67.
He went to reunite with his parents Fredrick and Alice Churchill, sisters Mildred Squires and Irene Smith, and his best friend and companion Muffin. He leaves behind his wife of 37 years, Wendy; his four sons Tylor, Tyson (Wendy), Taner (Henrike) and Taylon (Julia); his four grandchildren Caleb, Heath, Holden and London; siblings Betty Earle (Roger), Edna Churchill (Kev), Gerry, Shirley Crane (Eric); nieces, nephews, cousins, his loving sister-in-law Mechille Hartery, and his very dear friend Sterling Kean, among a large circle of friends.
Warick will be remembered forever as an incredibly loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, who always put others before himself and has had a lasting impact on everyone he met. He had a lifelong passion not just for his guitars and rock music, but also for all things sweet.
Our family would like to thank the staff of Pleasant View Towers for making both us and Warick as comfortable as possible during his final hours.
The family will receive visitors at Carnells Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Sunday, October 29 from 2-4PM and 7-9PM; and Monday, October 30 from 12-2PM with the funeral to follow at the Carnell Chapel at 2PM.
In lieu of flowers, our family asks that donations be made to the N.L. Alzheimer Society.

Wendy and family and all the Churchill and Druken families we are so sorry to hear of Warick’s passing. Vern and I remember him at the Sugar Shack on Sunday afternoons. He would come in dressed in his little suit and white shirt and tie and always hang out with us. We thought the world of him and anytime we met throughout the years these same feelings would surface. He grew into such a wonderful man. We will always cherish our memories and hugs from him. One of the most precious people anyone could know. God bless all of you in the coming days and may all your happy memories make you smile.

I have many fond memories of him when we were kids and teenagers. Many times myself, Warwick, Lynn, Lorne and others on our road would walk back & forth to school, the snack bars, dances in the cove or hang out in the field next to their house. He was a great friend!
But life changes, we grow up and we all go on our separate paths, Some friends you stay close with, others stay in your heart, Warwick was certainly one to many of us.
