To the Lambswood family,
We are so sorry to hear of Mr Lambswood’s passing.. We remember him as a wonderfully kind and personable man. He would deliver eggs and vegetables to my parents’ home in St John’s and after we moved to St phillips in 1978, we would often drop in to see him and to pick up eggs and vegetables. We cherish the memory of our lovely chats along with a cup of tea with him and his mother in the kitchen.
He was such a lovely man.

The Lamswood Family,
Our sincere condolences in the loss of your loved one, Bill. We have many good memories of Bill over the years in St. Philips, and more so at the Church. The Lamswood family were part of our lives in St. Philips. Billl’s brother, the late Brud Lamswood was my Godfather. Bill was a permanent fixture at the Church, very keen and always wanting the Church to be the center of life in the community. He was a faithful witness and lived his life trusting in God all his days. We rejoice and give thanks to God for His servant Bill. May his rest be in peace, and his dwelling place be in the Paradise of God. Amen. +
The Lord give you his peace and blessing now and always. John and Cynthia Sharpe.

Deepest condolences to the family of Willie as we always heard him called. A good friend of my Father Leander Squires, many years ago my Brother Cyril was home on holidays and of course we had to drive through St Phillips so while driving down to the beach we happened to see a man standing in his garden .. we had to stop because we enjoyed chatting to people we knew Dad would either be related to or knew so low and he hold when we drove up his driveway he was very welcoming and oh my what a chat we had , there wasn’t a question he didn’t answer , we had pictures taken with him he didn’t mind at all.one thing I must say is , I felt so happy to have met him, I think if you see people in your passing it never hurts to stop and say hello, that was in the days when you could do that so now that is a great memory that my Brother Cyril and my Sisters have. He is I’m sure in Heaven with his loved ones and enjoying the peace and serenity.

To the Lamswood families,
Our deepest sympathy to you all on the passing of Bill.
It was a joy and privilege to minister to him during his last few months while he was at the Health Science Centre and St. Clare’s. I saw him a few days before his death and had prayers with him. Surprised that his passing came so quickly. Now he is at peace and resting from his labour. No more suffering but enjoying his new home in the nearer presence of his God.
May he Rest In Peace and Rise in Glory.
May God’s peace be with you all at this time.

Our Deepest Sympathy to all of Bill’s family. May He Rest In Peace!!

Elaine and the Lambswood families. Please accept my condolences on the passing of ‘Willie’ as I always heard him called. I always recognized him at Church Sales and other functions since he always resembled my uncle, Leander Squires, to me. Thinking of you at this time. Daphne Squires Billings
